Nigeria Super Eagles To Play Uganda Cranes In An International Friendly Game

Nigeria Football Federation has set up an international friendly game for the Super Eagles in Asaba, Delta State after thier AFCON Qualifiers game against South Africa November 20.

The Super Eagles will trade tackles against the cranes of Uganda three days after playing thier match day five encounter with the Bafana Bafana of South Africa at the FBN Stadium in Cape Town, South Africa.

The match will take place at the Stephen keshi Stadium in Asaba, the venue that hosted the Aiteo Cup Finals between Enugu Rangers and Kano Pillars on Tuesday 20th of November.

The Latest Developments have been confirmed by the Federation of Uganda Football Association ( FUFA), communication Manager Ahmed Hussein’, The Uganda Crane’s Technical team will make use of the international break that runs from 12-20 November by playing a high profile friendly game with the former Africa Champions, Matches between the two teams have so close since the time immemorial.

“A 30 man contingent of Uganda cranes will depart to Nigeria in 18 ofNovember, the foreign based players will now depart to their various clubs after the game, “said Hussein.

The two teams last met in 2015 when Uganda cranes shocked Nigeria with a 1-0 win at the Godswill Akpabio international Stadium in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
