Plateau United and Wikki Tourist Appoint New Coach Ahead Of 2018/2019 Season

Nigeria Professionals Football League clubs Wikki Tourist of Bauchi and Plateau United of Jos has appointed new Coaches to take charge of the affairs of the clubs activities.

Plateau United who finished 5th in the just concluded Nigeria Professionals Football League which was concluded on 24 With 14 Games remaining appointed Abdul Maikaba as their head coach for the 2018/2019 Nigeria Professionals Football League season. Maikaba will replace Kennedy Boboye who left the club after the expiration of his contract earlier in October 2018.

Maikaba who qualified Wikki Tourist and Akwa United for the continent in his last two jobs will be expected to hit the ground running at Plateau United who lost their NPFL Crown to Lobi Stars last season.

While in Bauchi,Wikki Touris who finished 14 in  last season has also appoint former back room staff of Akwa United Aliyu Zaibaru as their new technical adviser and will be charge of Wikki Tourist next month when the league kick off.

Zaibaru who will be handling an NPFL club for the first time, having work as an assistant coach to former  Kano Pillars coach, Kadiri Ikhana and former Golden Eaglets and flying Eagles Coach John Obuh.

Zaibaru holds a degree in physical and Health EEducation( PHE) from the university of Maiduguri, CAF B and C coaching license, Diploma in Football from the National institute of for Sports ( NIS) in Lagos and level four Grade from the Brazilian institute of sports.
