Former Kano Pillars goalkeeper, David Obiozor is finally set to start a new life in jos after he agreed terms with th Tin City Boys in Friday.
Obiozor who was in goal for Kano Pillars at the Aiteo cup final at the Stepehen Keshi Stadium but could do nothing to stop Rangers International in the historic final which saw Kano Giants throw away a 3-goal lead at 76minutes .
Speaking to journalist, the Keffi born goalkeeper said, “I have joined Plateau United and this represents a new beginning for me.”
“I feel so good start a new life in another club after my three wonderful seasons with Kano Pillars came to an end.” He added
Obiozor however remained proud to have represented Kano Pillars which he described as one of the best clubs in Nigeria but had to move on in order to progress his career as well.
He concluded by describing the 2018 AITEO Cup Final as the most horrible match in his career and he was in Plateau United to redeem himself even as he promised fans that they should be expectant of some amazing performances
“I don’t want to discuss about the Aiteo Cup final, it was a horrible moment of my career,” the Keffi-born goalkeeper said
“I have joined plateau United, it is a new beginning for me. I feel so good to start a new life in another club after my three seasons with Pillars came to an end.
“Pillars are a team I am proud of, but I have to move on. Pillars are one of the best clubs in Nigeria, I wish them the best, while I have to move on as a player”.
