FIFA Approved Stephen Keshi Stadium Asaba For Uganda Friendly

Federation de International Football Association (FIFA) has approved the Stephen Okechukwu Keshi Stadium for the upcoming International friendly between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and the Cranes of Uganda in Asaba.

The Stephen Keshi Stadium which was Completed early this year  for the Africa Athletics Championship was abandoned by the past government and was reconstructed by this government to give Asaba a befitting state capital with Sports facilities.

Following the approval from FIFA, the stadium will now officially host its first international match which would be between the Nigerian Super Eagles and Ugandan Cranes.

The last time The Super Eagles faced the Cranes was at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo where the Super Eagles were victorious by a lone goal and Vincent Enyeama was in goal and captained the Super Eagles for that encounter.
