AWCON 2018: Ordega Promises To Do More Super Falcons

 

Super Falcons Forward Francisca Ordega has pledge to do more and fight till the end of 2018 African Women Cup of Nations. The lady who was superb for the Falcons was on the score sheet and also got an assist to ensure Nigeria trash Copper Queens of Zambia 4 nil.

Her Scintillating performance didn’t go unnoticed as she picked the woman of the match award.

Ordega, one of the most experienced players in the team said she’s really happy with the award and that it will boost her performance in the next game.

” It means a lot to me because the last AWC I couldn’t do my best, I was one of the experienced and best Nigerian best player but wasn’t there to be found, reasons I don’t know but that’s soccer generally. Being a professional a lot of things happen, the last game was not good, my fans and family weren’t so happy by my performance, I just said to myself that I nothing less but to give my best and make my family happy especially we the team it’s not just about me. I’m super excited about the award, it’s for my team and the fans out there.”

Hinting that the Falcons are in Ghana for a serious business, the Washington Spirit Forward said “This is not the end, it’s just the beginning. we a team that never give up no matter what, we will fight till the end. The last game wasn’t the best performance for us, but I promise from today, with this victory we are going to come all out to get back our birth right. We are here for business. The performance of today, the match and win is gone we looking forward to the next game.

Spirited Falcons will now face Equatorial Guinea who lost their second game to South Africa 7-1 on Saturday in Cape Coast.
