FIFA Women World cup: Super Falcons Drawn In Group A Alongside Host, France, Norway And Korea

Africa champions, Super Falcons of Nigeria have been drawn in group A alongside Host, France, Korea and Norway in the FIFA Women World Cup that will be hosted
by France in 2019.

Super Falcons who never left the group stage after thier best outing in 1999 by reaching the quarter finals have been drawn in a dicey group which consist of host France whom they play early this year in friendly game which lost they lost 8-0 to and Norway whom have the reigning women world Best player of the year and Asia Super power, Japan.

The Super Falcons who qualify to the world cup by defeating Cameroon 4-2 on penalties In the Semi Finals game to book their world cup ticket and also the reach the finals of the Africa Women championship to defend their title by beating South Africa In final on penalties also.

The Nigeria football federation said they are in talk with the FIFA executive committee to organise a friendly games for the Super Falcons during the FIFA break for preparation ahead of the FIFA Women World cup for a good outing in the tournament.

While the other Africa representatives, South Africa and Cameroon have drawn in group B And E, South Africa will play Germany, China PR and Spain in group B while Cameroon will play Canada, New Zealand and Netherland in group E.
