Beach AFCON 2018: Nigeria Qualify For 2019 FIFA Beach World Cup After Beating Egypt 7-6 In The Semi Finals

The Nigeria Beach football team, Sand Eagles have book their place in the finals and qualify for the 2019 FIFA Beach world that will be hosted in Paraguay after beating host Egypt 7-6 in the Semi Finals on Wednesday afternoon.

The Sand Eagles who started their tournament campaign in disappointment by losing to Senegal 2-0 in the penalties after a 4-4 draw before beating Libya 7-3 and Tanzanian 4-2 to qualify for the semi finals with host Egypt.

The sand Eagles who were finalist in the 2016 CAF Beach soccer AFCON when they lose to Senegal in the finals are looking to win the CAF Beach tournament after failing to win it in several attempts.

With this win against the host Egypt in the Semi Finals, it means the Super Sand Eagles have qualified for the 2019 FIFA Beach World Cup in Paraguay and might meet Thier familiar foes, Senegal in the finals of the CAF Beach AFCON.
