The Bet9ja Nigeria National League Super 8 promotion playoff have been postponed to January 5th after the initial date for comment was January 3rd.
The Bet9ja Nigeria National League Super 8 promotion playoff which was supposed to be concluded since last year October have been seeing twist of fate due to the to the disagreement between Nigeria National League bodies and the league management in community for the new proposal in by the Nigeria National League in promoting all Eight teams whom qualify for the promotion playoff.
The Nigeria National League (NNL) has requested the postponement of the planned Super 8 in Aba from Thursday January 3 to Saturday 5th 2019.
The letter addressed to the Chairman, Nigeria Football Federation Football Committee was addressed as follows
_”Sequel to our meeting on 27th December, 2018 held in Lagos we hereby request for the shift of date for the commencement of the Super 8 from the 3rd to 5th January, 2019._
_”This is to enable the concerned club’s to effect the resolution of the meeting in good time.”_
In the meantime, Chairman of the League Management Company, Shehu Dikko while on Channels TV programme Tuesday, has insisted that January 13th remained the kick off date of the 2018/19 Nigerian Professional Football League season.
