Bayelsa United and Warri Wolves FC Resume Training Ahead Of The New Bet9ja NNL Season

Management of Warri Wolves and Bayelsa United Football Clubs has officially announced the resumption of the second phase of preparation for the 2018/2019 Nigeria National League, NNL season.

According to the club Chairman of Bayelsa United Mr Tony Ogola that both old and new players are expected to report to their Sagbama based camp tomorrow 3rd of January to continue their preparation for the second tier league in the Country which commencement date is yet to be announced.

Players and officials of the restoration boys have been on holiday due to the Christmas and New Year celebrations.

Priority to the holiday, The Restoration Boys used the Governor (Wike’s Unity Cup) to sharp up the team with high profile pre season games with top Nigeria Professional Football league side in Port-Harcourt which won by Sunshine Stars of Akure.


Also the management of
Warri Wolves FC also says the club will resume training on Monday, 7 January, for the second phase of preparation for the 2018/2019 Nigeria National League, NNL, campaign.

In a statement released by the club’s media unit, the closed door training exercise will take place at the Warri City Stadium by 7am daily.

Players and officials of the Seasiders have been on holiday, because of the Christmas and New Year celebrations.

The statement says the doors are still opened for unattached and experienced league players to train with the club with a view of joining team for the 2018/2019 NNL campaign.

Before embarking on holiday, Warri Wolves had an open screening exercise where some good players were selected to complement the team.

The 2018/2019 NNL season is expected to kick off by the end of this month after the Super 8 playoff.
