The problems facing the Nigeria football is not coming to an end very soon as the Bet9ja Nigeria National League, NNL Super 8 promotion saga continues with Bendel Insurance going camping instead of the promotion playoff at the Enyimba Stadium in Aba.
The promotion playoff which have been the main issue of the resumption of the Nigeria Professionals Football League due to the refusals of some of clubs pulling out of the promotion playoff insisting of promoting all 8 teams that qualified for the play off due to the inclusive 2017/2018 season of the Nigeria Professionals Football League, NPFL.
Bendel Insurance whom finish top of group B1 refused to participate in The Super 8 promotion playoff in the first one that was scheduled in December with clubs like Remo Stars, Shooting Stars Sport club ( 3SC), Kada Stars and Kogi United also failing to arrived the venue leaving only, Gombe United, Real Stars and Delta Force in the venue all alone waiting for them before it was shifted to January.
Bendel Insurance has resulted to camping instead of going to Aba for the Super Eight tournament in Aba and said they will never participate in the promotion playoff, that the league should promote all teams to the NPFL.
With such things taking place in the Nigeria football, loving fans of the game are not sure of January 13th resumption of League propose by LMC as of report only two teams (Gombe United and Real Stars FC) have arrived Aba for the Super 8 promotion playoff.
