Niger Tornadoes Coach Resigned After Defeat To Katstina United


Niger Tornadoes technical adviser Bernard Ogbe has left the club honourably.

The tactician made this known immediately after the club 3-1 defeat in Katsina against Katsina United in the Nigeria Professional Football League matchday 06 Sunday evening.

The tactician met the vice chairman Comrade Bello Auta, club secretary Aliyu Muazu and Welfare officer Awwalu Baba Idris before leaving the stadium after the game.

” I cannot be satisfied, am completely sad with the result, even though i have to questions some of the decision of the habitats of the game, because i saw two goals from an offside position but be that as it may i cant cry over spilled milk but again this is not helping the development of football in this country”.

“Secondly i want to tell you that is on record that i was given 5 match ultimatium, this is the second one, i have 3 more to go, but unfortunately am going to leave the job from this second match, i wont even wait till i finish the 5 match”.

“I have already inform the club officials before the match, that whatever happen after this match I will tendered my resignation letter”

The vice chairman Comrade Bello Auta told the media department of the club “Coach Bernard Ogbe just inform us now that he has resigned his appointment as the technical adviser of the club”

Bernard Ogbe joined Niger Tornadoes at the beginning from Mighty Jets.
