LMC Hammer Plateau United Again, Fined 1Million And To Play Home Games Behind Close Doors

Plateau United has been charged again for breaching NPFL Framework & Rules during its Matchday 5 fixture against Kano Pillars.

United whom was Fined 6 millions naira and bainshed to Lafia for 3 home games during a match day one encounter with FC Ifeanyi Ubah for fans encroachment and beating of Referees have recieved another hammer from the LMC for the same at  their new home in Lafia.

Some supporters of Plateau United threw objects including stones & sticks at the match officials as they made their way off the pitch.

Plateau United has been fined N1 million for acts of throwing objects at the match officials in the stadium .

Plateau United has been given a suspended order to its subsequent home matches behind closed doors, which order is suspended for the probationary period of the rest of the season.

Note that the previous probation for Plateau United was on account of pitch invasion & violent attack of match official.

LMC give Plateau United 48 hours from the date of notice to appeal.
