Nigeria Beat Host, Niger To Qualify For FIFA Under20 World Cup In Poland

 

Adamu Alhassan 73rd minutes strike earns Nigeria Semi final ticket and a place at the Under20 World Cup in Poland later this year.

Flying Eagles whom failed to book their World cup spot on Tuesday by drawing a barren draw with the Amajita of South Africa bounce back to winning way by beating host, Niger in the last group games to book a semi finals ticket and world cup ticket.

The flying Eagles will now wait for the final group games of group B to know their opponent in the semi finals group stage as they top group A with 7pts from two wins and a draw.

In the other game in group A South Africa beat Burundi 1 nil also to qualify for the Under20 world cup and Semi finals of the CAN Under20.
