Enugu Rangers Crash Out Of CAF Confederation Cup


 

Rangers International of Enugu CAF Confederation Cup campaign came to end today after losing 1-0 to CS Sfaxien in front of thier home fans at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu.

Rangers fell 1-0 to CS Sfaxien of Tunisia, who won the group to join fellow Tunisians Etoile du Sahel in the quarterfinal of the Confederation Cup.

Rangers whom start thier CAF Confederation cup campaign brightly by going 8 games unbeaten failed to win any of thier last 5 games by losing 3 and drawing 2.

A 73rd minute goal by Nadhir Korichi gave CS Sfaxien victory in Enugu today, while Etoile pipped Salitas of Burkina Faso 1-0 at home in the other Group B tie, Rangers thus finished third in Group B with five points.
