Alhassan, 25, who had come through the ranks at Italian Serie A club Genoa being labelled one for the future with his stupendous strength and excellent tackling. But he had had to stay on the sidelines over a career-threatening injury while on loan at Italian club Cesena which kept him out of the game for a while, but now he’s fully recovered and up for the challenge again.
Alhassan joined Genoa in the 2011/12 season as a youngster featuring for the club’s Primavera and going on loan to other Italian clubs to gain first team experience, one notably was the loan spell at the Serie B side, Cesena, where he was a dependable pillar for the side.
