Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko Defender Gideon Baah, 27, found the back of the net today as his side Honka defeated Rovaniemi 2-1 away from home in the Finland Veikkausliiga.
Gideon scored in the 71st minute to double the lead for Honka after Martin Gonzalez grabbed the opener just three minutes into the second half.
Niklas Jokelainen later 10 minutes pulled one back for Rovaniemi but wasn’t enough to prevent Honka from taking home all three points.
Gideon Baah joined FC Honka from FC Gomel in a free transfer early 2019.
Gideon Baah in 2009 was voted the winner of the MTN soccer Academy.
