Canada Concede First Goal Of The Year By Beating Nigeria 2-1


The Nigeria women national football team, Super Falcons lose to Canada after taking the lead in the first half in a world cup preparation friendly game in Spain.

Desire Oparanozie put Nigeria in front in 28th minutes after taking two defenders out but Beckie Janine scores put Canada in level terms with Nigeria in the 48th Minutes.

But it didnt take long before Schmidt’s put Canada in lead in front through her header in the 53rd minutes as Falcons failed to hold on the lead after their 6-1 whitewashing of the Icelandic club last week.

The game ended in 2-1 in favour of the Canadians as it will be thier first time of conceding a goal this year.

The Super Falcons will return to Nigeria to continue their world preparation games with the WAFU women cup tournament in Ivory coast early next month.
