NC SPECIAL CUP Week 4 Preview: Kotoko Welcome AshantiGold As Hearts Face Ebusua Dwarfs.

Asante Kotoko will play host to Svetislav Tanasijevic’s AshantiGold at the Kumasi Baba Yara Sports stadium in a mid-week fixtures on Wednesday.

The Porcupine Warriors returned to winning ways with a sweet 3-0 victory away to Techiman Eleven Wonders at the Nana Ameyaw Park to boost their title ambition after suffering a painful 1-0 slender defeat at Tarkwa Anabuoso [T&A] Park by the Mauve club in week 2 of the NC Special Tournament.

After two straight games outside from their favourite Baba Yara Sports Stadium, Kotoko will now welcome bitterest regional rivals, “Aboakɛseɛ” AshantiGold SC in a crunchy fixture tomorrow in Kumasi.

Miners who are yet to taste defeat away on the other hand opened their title campaign with a 2-0 win at home against Techiman Eleven Wonders, and have not lost any game in the ongoing tournament – two stalemates against Bechem United and Aduana Stars respectively but sits behind their masters, ‘Fabulous’ Asante Kotoko on the league log with 5 points, just a point sundering the two sides at top after 3 games.
