CAF U17: Nigeria Finished Fourth After Losing Third Place Game To Angola

Nigeria National U17 team, Golden Eaglets failed to win bronze medal match as they lose to 10 men Angola in the third game place match.

Angola took the lead in the 27th minutes through Capita before wisdom Ubani got the equalizer for Nigeria 3 minutes later as the game ended 1-1 at half time.

Zito scored the winner goal for Angola in the 49th minutes as the Eaglets were wasteful in front goals wasting so many golden chances.

Golden Eaglets failed to make it to finals after losing to Guinea on Penalties in the semi finals while Angola also lost to Cameroon on penalties in the Semi Finals.

This will be Angola best performance so far in the U17 CAF Tournament after failing to make it out of the group stage in their last 3 attempts.
