The Ghana Football Association Normalization Committee has handed a temporary ban on the policy analyst of the Kumasi-based club.
Asante Kotoko management member Dr. Yaw Amo Sarpong has been banned temporary from all football related activities.
The decision was made by the interim football governing body after Dr. Amo Sarpong was spotted firing gunshots prior to the start of match-day eight clash between Asante Kotoko and Berekum Chelsea.
The Normalization Committee of Ghana Football Association has ordered a temporary ban on Dr. Amo Sarpong from all football activities.
This decision has become necessary due to your involvement in an unfortunate gunshots incident that occurred duringa day eight match between Berekum Chelsea FC and Asante Kotoko played on Sunday 25th April 2019 at the Berekum Golden City Park.
”This order is without prejudice to the determination of case pending before the GFA Disciplinary committee and the Berekum Police Command .
