Former Ghana U-17 National team trainer, Paa Kwasi Fabian has refuted that he doea not accept monies from players to induce his player selection into his team.
In an interview monitered by Mysoccer24.com on Sunyani-based Nimede3 FM, AFC Leopard defender Isaac Oduro made a stunning allegation against Coach Paa kwasi Fabian, ex-Asante Kotoko trainer of taking monies as bribe to influence player call-up into the Nation’s Youth team, U-17.
Furious Paa Kwasi Fabian has however granted an interview to debunk and clear the waves, saying he does not engage in such an act.And does not know any player with name Isaac Oduro.
Isaac Oduro, former Hearts of Oak player was with Okwawu United in 2012 where they engaged the then U-17 squad that was with coach Fabian.According to Oduro, member of the management team took GHC 3000 from him to be given to the starlets head coach in other to earn a call up to the team.
Fabian denies involving in such an act.
Some people use my name to collect money from players which is very bad”I took the matter up but we have sorted everything”.
I don’t take monies from players to invite them to my team”, he told Nimde3 FM Total sports.
I don’t know any player called Isaac Oduro , what is he talking about. I have not collected any money from him”.
The former Inter Allies gaffer took in-charge of the U-17 team from 2012-2017.
He is currently the National U-17 coach of Uganda.
