The General Secretary of the Refrees Association of Ghana, Ayitah Mensah has revealed the Kwasi Nyantakyi administration owes referees in Ghana over two million Ghana Cedis.
Speaking to Ghana Accra-based radio station, Zylofon FM, he revealed the Normalization Committee did not give them any reason about why the referees had not being paid.
He added that the only information given them was that the Ministry of Youth and Sports had not release the money to the NC.
But he believes since teams participating in the NC special competition have been given their money, the money for the referees has also been released.
“We don’t want to undermine any administration, so far as football is concerned” he replied when asked about why they didn’t take their money before the commencement of the competition.
He also later revealed that the Nyantakyi administration owes them over two million Ghana Cedis.
