NPFL Match Day 19 Round Up: Lobi Stars And Kano Pillars Move To 2nd Position In Their Groups

NPFL 2018/2019 season is coming to an end with 3 games remaining as one of the 8 teams that will be relegated is confirm on match day 19 as we bring the round of Match Day 19 weekend games.

In group A , Enyimba and MFM failed to pick all maximum points at home to be in contention of the Super 6 tournament as Lobi Stars beat Rangers to leap above them to second position in Group A.

Kwara United failed to brighten their hope of surviving relegation this season as they dropped points at home by playing a goalless draw against Rivers United at the Kwara State Stadium, Bendel Insurance beat Katsina United 2-1 to move out of relegation while Niger Tornadoes lost to Sunshine Stars in Akure to remain in the relegation zone.

In group B, Yobe Desert Stars becomes the first team to be relegated as they failed to pick points in Uyo, Plateau United comes back from a goal down to beat Nasarawa United while Kano Pillars beat Go Round FC to move up to second position in group B.

The big one happened in Maiduguri and Okigwe as Delta Force end Elkanemi Warriors 4 years unbeaten home record with a 2 nil victory while Abia record their 3rd away victory of the season in Okigwe as they whip Heartland FC of Owerri as FC Ifeanyi Ubah failed to pick points away in Gombe.
