Nigeria Beat Ghana On Penalties To Reach WAFU Women Cup Finals

Nigeria Super Falcons book their place in the finals of the UFOA/WAFU Women Cup Of Nations after beating Arch Rivals Ghana 4-2 on penalties after playing goalles draw in regular time.

The Nigeria Super Falcons failed to reach expectations as the Black Queens Dominated the first half with the Nigeria Goalkeeper, Chimaka Nnadozie making a lot of saves to deny the Black Queens the lead.

The Falcons play better in the second half by putting pressure on the Ghanaian defence in search of goal but were denied several times as both teams hold on to a goalles draw as the game went straight to penalties.

Nigeria U20 goalkeeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie was the hero as she saved two penalties to send the Nigeria Super Falcons to the finals and also take a revenge on their 2018 defeat to Black Queens also on penalties.

Nigeria will play host Ivory Coast who defeat Mali in the first Semi Finals, in the Finals on Sunday while Ghana will play Mali in the third place game.
