The Karela United talisman and gem, Diawisie Taylor is the joint top scorer in the on-going normalization committee special competition with 8 goals.
Speaking to Accra Base Online Station Eye FM, he revealed that he has plied his trade for Berekum Arsenal and Bibiani Gold Stars. During his stint with Bibiani Good Stars, he was the top scorer in the then GN Bank league with 24 goals in his second season, and scored 17 goals in his first season.
He is currently in his second season with Karela United. Among the clubs he has played , the skillful player revealed that, he faced challenges in all teams. “Prayers, family, friends, fans and coaches are my motivation” he replied when asked about what motivates him.
According to him, the referees he has encountered in the on-going normalization committee special competition have lived up to par. “Every player’s dream is to play for his nation” he said when commenting on playing for the senior national soccer team, the Black Stars of Ghana.
The sensational striker revealed he would be very glad if he gets the opportunity to play for any big club in Europe. He later disclosed that his role models are former striker of Black Stars, Asamoah Gyan, Atletico Madrid’s Diego Costa and Manchester City’s Sergio Kun Aguero.
