FIFA Women World Cup: Ini Umotong Dropped As Dennerby Release Final List Of 23 Players


Nigeria Super Falcons Captain Desire Oparanozie, defender Onome Ebi and Barcelona forward Asisat Oshoala top the list of the 23 players that will represent Nigeria at the 8th FIFA Women World Cup finals in France as Coach Thomas Dennerby released the Super Falcons final Squad in Austria today.

AWCON 2016 and 2018 goalkeepers Jonathan Alaba and Tochukwu Oluehi both made the team with Halimatu Ayinde, Rasheedat Ajibade, Osinachi Ohale also in the roster.

England based forward, Ini Umotong and Josephine Chukuwunonye were the two players dropped from the Super Falcons squad.

The Super Falcons will depart Austria, where they are on a two weeks camping, for France on Tuesday 4th of June.

Super Falcons will battle Norway, Korea and host France in the group stage.
