NPFL Final Match Day: 14 Teams Battle For Relegation Survival

Is the final match of the abridged Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL where 5 other teams will join Remo Stars, Niger Tornadoes and Yobe Desert Stars in relegation while 3 other teams will join Enugu Rangers, Akwa United and Kano Pillars in the playoffs.

14 teams will battle for survival of relegation today as 5 of 14 teams teams will be sure of their place in the lower league .

Enyimba, MFM, Lobi Stars, FC Ifeanyi Ubah, Elkanemi Warriors and  Nasarawa United are the 6 teams in contention of last remaining 3 tickets for the Super 6.

In group A, Wikki Tourist will welcome group leader, Enugu Rangers for maximum points to remain in the Nigeria Professional Football League next season, Lobi Stars will visit already relegated Remo Stars as they seek for maximum points to book their place in the Super 6 while it will be Katsina United against an Enyimba side as both teams needs maximum points.

It will be explosive in Port Harcourt as Bendel Insurance are doing everything to escape relegation as the deputy governor has promised to ferry fans from Benin to Port to cheer the team to victory against a Rivers United side who who also needs maximum points to remain in the league next season while MFM who visit a desperate and determine Sunshine Stars who needs all 3 points to escape relegation.

In group B, Delta Force and Plateau United in an explosive encounter in Asaba as the winner of this encounter will be sure of place in NPFL next season as Go Round FC or Gombe United will go down today with both playing each other today.

FC Ifeanyi Ubah will have to beat Akwa United in Nnewi to be sure of a place in the super 6 after beating Elkanemi Warriors in Maiduguri to revive their Super 6 hope.
