Appiah Names Final 23 Black Stars Players Ahead Of AFCON 2019.

In their quest to clinch the most prestigious trophy on the African continent after 37 years of trophy drought, 23 players have been chosen by head coach, James Akwasi Appiah.

Appiah called 29 players for camping in Dubai. St Gallen defender, Nuhu Musah got injured a few days ago which rendered him ineligible to participate in the AFCON.

Accra Hearts Of Oak defender, Mohammed Alhassan was dropped while Kotoko player Abdul Fatawu Safiu also missed out. Yaw Yeboah, Ebenezer Ofori and FC Nantes striker, Majeed Waris were also dropped.

Ghana is billed to lock horns with Cameroon, Guinea-Bissau and Benin in Group F.
