Enyimba, Kano Pillars And Rangers Are Nigeria CAF Champions League And Confederation Cup Representatives

Enyimba and Kano Pillars will represent Nigeria in the CAF champions league next season while Rangers will return to the continent this season as they will be playing in the Confederation cup.

Enyimba were crown champions of the 2019/2019 season of the Nigeria Professional Football League after winning four of their five games of the NPFL Championship Playoffs to win their eight NPFL title.

Kano Pillars finished second despite not losing any game in the championship playoff to seal the second champions league ticket to join Enyimba.

Kano Pillars won 3 games against FCIU, Lobi Stars and Enyimba and drew 2 against Akwa United and Enugu Rangers to pick 11 points from 5 games.

The last available ticket of the NPFL season was picked by Enugu Rangers after beating FC Ifeanyi Ubah 4-2.

Enugu Rangers will play in the CAF Confederation cup next season after finishing third behind champions Enyimba and Kano Pillars.

The last CAF Confederation cup ticket will be the winner of the NFF Aiteo Cup winner.
