“We Are Not Expecting Any Forms Of Revenue From The Normalisation Committee”- Edmund Ackah

Edmund Ackah, a management member of Asante Kotoko has revealed that the Porcupine Warriors would play against their bitter rivals, Accra Hearts Of Oak amidst the Normalization Committee’s decision not to heed to their concerns.

The Kumasi based club wanted the gates proceeds of the game to be shared equally among the two clubs since the semi finals game of the NC tier one competition was a one off game. However the N.C did not heed to that. Kotoko wanted 40% of the gate proceeds but the NC holds on to it’s decision of 30%.

“We are not expecting any forms of revenue from the Normalization committee so we will play Hearts come 16th June just like how we play friendly match.” He revealed to Accra-based radio station, Happy FM.

According to him,
Dr Kwame Kyei says the money won’t do anything for Kotoko. He is not a kid to be toying with. This money is not close to the blessings God has blessed Dr Kwame Kyei.

“They sent Cudjoe Fianoo to meet Dr Kwame Kyei to agree on the figures which members of the competition committee confirmed on various media platforms but they are now saying this then we will take anything they give us.”

“Management of Kotoko has no issue with Sammy Kuffour and I don’t remember any members ever saying they have a problem with him.” He concluded.
