Top scorer for Asante Kotoko in the on-going normalization committee special competition has revealed he does not have any secret that helps him to play the way he does.
His comments follows Kotoko’s victory over bitter rivals Accra Hearts Of Oak in the semi-finals of the tier one normalization committee special competition. The clinical goal scorer gave the porcupine warriors the lead in the 4th minute when he comfortably planted the ball into the net through a Naby Keita flick.
“It feels good, we have worked so hard for this. For me is not about me scoring, it is about the team winning”. He said.
“I don’t have any secret, it is about the man sitting there ( C.K Akunnor), he pushes me to do what I can’t do. Even if I do well, he tells I didn’t do well. That motivates me to do more” He revealed when asked about his secret.
The attacker who was dropped by coach James Akwasi Appiah prior to the AFCON 2019 says he is happy to join his teammates.
Kotoko would lock horns with Ashantigold SC in the semi-finals of the tier two of the competition. However, they would battle it out with Karela United in the finals of the tier one.
