The Public Relations Officer for Hassacas Ladies, Benjamin Quansah has revealed the Sekondi based women’s club have not received their prize money of GH¢50,000 for winning the Normalization Committee Women’s Special Competition.
The Normalization Committee appointed by FIFA organized a special competition for the football fraternity in Ghana considering the football climate after the Anas Exposé.
The power house in Women’s football in Ghana triumphed over Lady Strikers in the semi-finals of the competition by a goal to qualify for the final.
Coach Yusif Bassigi’s side came back from two goals down to score 3 goals against Ampem Darkoaa Ladies to lift the trophy in the final. The final game was staged at the El Wak sports stadium in Accra on 14th May.
However, Hassacas Ladies have not received their prize money according to Benjamin Quansah who spoke to Takoradi based radio station, Kingdom FM.
“We have not received our prize money of GH¢ 50,000 GFA NC ever since Hassacas Ladies won the Women Special Competition Cup” he revealed.
