Head coach for Nzema based club, Nzema Kotoko, coach Christian Lokko says his team would qualify for the CAF Confederation Cup.
His comments follows his team win over Unistar Academy in the semi-finals of the tier two normalization committee special competition. Nzema Kotoko scored Unistar Academy 2-1 to progress to the final of the competition yesterday at the Cape Coast sports stadium.
En route to the final, Nzema Kotoko knocked out fellow Nzema rivals, Karela United.
“By the grace of God we are going to Africa, we’ve got the resources, we’ve got the Omanhene ” he revealed in his post match conference. According to him, he wants Karela United to surprise Kotoko in Kumasi so that the two clubs from Nzema would go to Africa.
He added: “Nzema teams have been down for quiet a long time and this is the time for people to know what is good in Nzema land in terms of football. Nzema people would hold their head high, they’ve got the materials”.
According to him, his secret is determination, hardwork, discipline and dedication to God.
Nzema Kotoko would lock horns with Ashantigold SC who trashed Kotoko 3-1 in the semi-finals of the competition in the finals of the competition.
