Communications Director for Kumasi Asante Kotoko Lawyer Sarfo Duku has revealed the club has not signed in-form striker of Karela United, Diawusie Taylor.
The porcupine warriors would represent Ghana in the CAF Champions League next season after beating Karela United 4-1 on penalties in the finals of the NC tier one competition.
In view of that, the two times African champions would be hoping to beef up their squad ahead of their African campaign. According to many media reports, the 19 year old striker has signed for Kotoko.
The top scorer (10 goals) in the tier one of the Normalization Committee special competition received applauds from the Kotoko fan base yesterday after their encounter.
Speaking to Accra-based radio station, Asempa FM on the ultimate sports show, Lawyer Sarfo Duku revealed Kotoko has not signed the player yet. “If the coach needs him, management would work on him” he revealed.
According to him, the club this time around has more time to do proper signings ahead of their African campaign.
He also revealed the team would also break their players on Thursday 27th June 2019.
