NPFL: Nasarawa United announce resumption date

Ahead of the 2019/2020 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season, the management of Nasarawa United has announced 15th August 2019 as official date for resumption of both retained and invited players.

In a statement released by club chairman, Barrister Isaac Danladi, the club stated, “All players (Retained and Invited) are to report to Nasarawa United camp on Friday 15th of August so that preparation for the incoming season will commence in earnest as all Pre Season activities will swing into full gear and any player that refuses to report at the stipulated date will have to answer to the management.,”

Isaac Danladi used the opportunity to wish all Muslim staff of the team a Happy Sallah celebration.

“I wish all our Muslim brothers (Players, staff, fans and sports stakeholders within the state) a Happy Sallah celebration and our prayer is for us to all witness more of this type of celebration in sound health,” he concluded.

Full training is expected to commence on Monday 17 August, 2019 as Nasarawa United will fight for honours in the league and Aiteo Cup.
