Ikechukwu Ezenwa join Heartland FC on a years deal
Nigeria Super Eagles goalkeeper, Ikechukwu Ezenwa have officially completed his transfer move from Katsina United to Heartland FC of Owerri.
Ezenwa penned a deal which would keep him in the club till 2021.
Ezenwa who join Katsina United last season from FC Ifeanyi Ubah will start his 2019/2020 NPFL campaign in the city of Owerri.
The AFCON 2019 star first moved to the club in July 2008 and featured in various league and cup games till 2011 when he left Owerri for Port-Harcourt.
The goalkeeper who is the first signing for Heartland FC ahead of the 2019/2020 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season, returns to the 5-time Nigerian champions after eight years, joining new head coach, Fidelis Ilechukwu whose major task is to take the team back to glory.
