Former Asante Kotoko midfield maestro, Kwame Bonsu is upbeat about his former employee’s chances of kicking out Kano Pillars from the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Champions League preliminary round reverse fixture.
The Porcupine Warriors will welcome their Nigerian counterparts, Kano Pillars to the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday with the aim of overturning their 3-2 deficit suffered in Kano a week ago.
Bonsu, who currently plies his trade in Tunisia with Esperance, however, maintained that even though he is no more with the Porcupines, he still follows the team and is optimistic of a Kotoko victory over Kano Pillars on Sunday.
“I have been following Asante Kotoko since I left the club to Tunisia,” he told Nhyira FM.
“I wish them the best of luck. I know they will definitely win against Kano Pillars.”
