Coach Speech

[Ghana] METEORS COACH IBRAHIM TANKO’S TECHNICAL OBSERVATIONS FROM KOTOKO 2-0 WIN OVER KANO PILLARS

“Most of the departments did well, and then Justice Blay if you have such a player doing all the dirty work, and he also has that kind of good passes. What I feel they should have used more was Emmanuel Gyamfi, because he is very fast and any ball given him when he takes on the defenders they are unable to handle him, he told Ghana- kumasi base station Fox Fm that he was expecting them to use him more. Keita and Richard Arthur one of them should try to stay in the box because most of them when they are possessing (the ball) they go out of position, Gyamfi is also a very fast player so any time he gets to the crossing side, he lifts his head and they are not there because he is fast, so I feel that one of them especially Richmond Arthur should always be in the box. I feel the coach is aware because he has been training with the boys and definitely after the match they’ll watch the video, he’ll see where he has to work on in the next match, I also liked their left back, Patrick Yeboah he proved in 90 minutes, he concentrated very well, what matters is at least going forward the coach will look at some things, I’m 100% sure he will see where things didn’t go well (against Kano Pillars) so that we will do it well next time”.
