[Nigeria] NNL 2019/2020: Coach Adamu Abdullahi Happy For NNL Draws, Optimistic Of Gaining Promotion To NPFL

The head coach of the Nigeria Army side coach Adamu Abdullahi of Green Beret is optimistic of taking Green Beret FC to top-flight football.

The coach who speaks to said he was happy to found his team in Group A1 of the 2019/2020 NNL season as his team is one of the best from that group.

“Just like you have known, we have resumed training on the first of August and have prepared very well for the next season”.

“We screened some of the players that we think can fit into our team”.

“We assumed last season it was just first season for us being a new team to the league”.

But the season hopefully we have prepared very well, the authority from the above have give us assurance of their full support to see the team gain promotion into the Nigeria premier league.

“By the end of this month we are going to finish all our training and exercise and sign the players that we have Invited, those that we think that can fit into our team and give us the results”.

“We are thankful to God because when I saw the draws, I told my colleagues that God has answered our prayers, all the teams that are dropped from the Premier League last season are in the other group”.

While the teams that gain promotion from NLO one and some teams that are not good enough, because have seen some of them last season struggling trying to see how they secured a ticket and remain in the league”.

Green Beret FC of Zaria are in group A1 of the 2019/2020 NNL season with teams like NAF FC, Road Safety, Kada City, Oyah Sports, ABS, Kogi United etc.
