Attah Kadiri strikes for Öestersunds FK as he dedicates goal to fans
Ex Nasarawa United striker Jordan Attah Kadiri was on song for his Swedish allsvenskan side Öestersunds FK in their home defeat to league leaders Djurgaarden on MD 26.
The youngster who started his third game for the modest Swedish side pounce on a pass from Swedish striker Felix Horberg to register his first goal for Öestersunds FK in the 28th minute but Djurgaarden responded instantly as Nicklas Barkroth equalized with a cool finish before Danielsson late goal secured the full points against their hosts.
Speaking after the game, Jordan Attah Kadiri dedicated his first strike to the fans and his teammates at Öestersunds.
“It was a bittersweet day for as I got my first goal against the league leaders but ultimately lost but a lot of positives were taken from the game as we will keep on fighting so as to keep putting smiles on the faces of our fans because they have been very supportive and I dedicate this goal to them and of course my teammates’.
When asked if he has set a personal target for himself in Europe, he has this to say.
“On a personal note, I have not set any target for myself this season, I only want to keep improving and hopefully become one of the hottest strikers in world football while waiting for a national team call up, he concluded”.
Kadiri Attah will look to continue his goal scoring form when Öestersunds FK host Sirius next after the international break.
