Former coach of Kotoko, Mas-Ud Didi Dramani has recalled how he became the coach of Kotoko in 2012.
Dramani was in charge of the club from 2012 to 2015 and won the Ghana Premier League in 2012/2013 and 2013/2014.
The former Real Tamale United captain in an exclusive interview with Football Made In Ghana said the first day he spoke to the then CEO of Kotoko, K.K Sarpong was the day he got the job.
“In 2012, I was in camp when I got a phone call from Dr Sarpong. It was late in the night and I was sleeping but I answered. Then he said, is that Didi and I said yes. Then he said I want you to coach Kotoko and I said ok that’s fine if you hand me a contract.”
“I hadn’t met him before then, I only heard about him. That conversation was the first time we spoke.”
