The Finland based winger was adjudged the best player in Ghana’s opener at the ongoing Africa U23 Cup of Nations against Cameroon on Friday evening.
HJK Helsinki forward Evans Mensah was named the man of the match in the Black Meteors draw with the Indomitable Lions.
The 21-year-old enjoyed the entire duration of the match with a symmetrical performance for the Ghana U23 side.
A 59th minute free-kick scored Franck Junior Evina was cancelled out by a late goal from Habib Mohammed on the 87th minute.
Ghana will battle out with host nation Egypt on Monday, 11th November 2019 in their second Group A match.
Mensah scored seven goals in his 21 appearances for HJK Helsinki in their 2019 Finnish top-flight league campaign.
