[Nigeria] NPFL Week Two Fixtures, Previews

Week two of the Nigeria Professional Football League will continue on Sunday in 8 venues across the nation.

The two teams from Akwa Ibom State, Akwa United and Dakkada FC home games against Abia Warriors and Kano Pillars have been postponed forward due to the AFCON qualifiers between Nigeria and Benin in Uyo.

Sunshine Stars of Akure will open their new season with Warri Wolves who drew their first game at home to Akwa United on week one.

The Akure gunners week one game against Rangers was postponed due to Rangers involvement in CAF Confederation cup Playoff round.

Jigawa Golden Stars will be at home to Plateau United.

The Dutse based club lost to Wikki Tourist in Gombe after taking the lead at half time while Plateau United begin their season with a 3-1 victory over Lobi Stars in Jos.

Lobi Stars are set to bounce back from their 3-1 defeat to Plateau United on week one as they play host to Delta Forced whom Forced Dakkada FC to a 1-1 draw at home.

Heartland United will be visiting the Yakubu Gowon Stadium in Port Harcourt after losing their first game of the season to MFM FC at home.

They will be guest to Rivers United who forced Kano Pillars to a goalles draw on week one.

MFM begin their season campaign with away win, they will be looking to trend on that path as they play host to FC Ifeanyi Ubah whom also won their week one game against Adamawa United.

Enyimba will be guest to Katsina United on week two of the NPFL.

Katsina United lost their week one game 3-1 to Abia Warriors last week Sunday and will be hoping to bounce back against Enyimba.

Adamawa United and Enugu Rangers will slug it out at the Pantami Stadium in Gombe on Sunday.

Adamawa United narrowly lost to FC Ifeanyi Ubah on week one while Enugu Rangers week one fixture against Sunshine Stars of Akure was postponed.

Nasarawa United will play host to Wikki Tourist of Bauchi at the Lafia Township stadium.

The Solid miner are to set to begin their campaign against Wikki Tourist of Bauchi who came back from a goal down to beat Jigawa Golden Stars on week one.
