Kotoko captain Felix Annan is demanding a monthly salary of $1200 before he inks a new deal with the club.
Zonefoot. Net can exclusively report that the 25-year-old has told the management of the Porcupine Warriors to make him the one highest paid player at the club like George Abege.
“He [Felix Annan] is demanding $1200 as his monthly salary before he sign a new contract with the club,” a close source told Kickgh.com
“Talks are still ongoing because his services is needed at club for the upcoming season. Losing him at this time will be a big mistake”
Kotoko have proposed a new two-year deal to the Black Stars shot-stopper with hopes of renewal before the start of the season.
Annan has remained a key figure for the Porcupine Warriors for the past five seasons which earned him the captaincy role after Amos Frimpong left the club to join AS Koloum in Guinea.
Annan joined Kotoko during the 2011 season and was absolutely difficult to break through the goalkeeping department. But took it cool to wait for his time to understudy the late Soulama Abdullai and Isaac Amoako.
He was loaned to both West Africa Football Academy (WAFA)and Real Tamale United (RTU) to shape himself for the bigger test.
His return has been glorious, thus far. And remain undoubtedly the best in the local scene.
Annan is currently a key member of the senior national team of Ghana where he was part of the Ghana squad for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations staged in Egypt.
