Ghana Premier League giants Hearts of Oak have expressed interest in signing Umar Bashiru for their 2019/20 season.
The 22-year-old has been contacted by the officials of the Capital based club as they want to beef up their squad before the transfer window closes next week.
The former WAFA enforcer is currently s free player after his contract with Asante Kotoko was abrogated in October last year.
His stay at the Kumasi-based club was cut short after struggling for regular playing time under Coach CK Akonnor.
Bashiru featured for WAFA before joining Asante Kotoko in 2018.
