[Nigeria] Women Club Friendly: Royal Queens To Tackle Edo Queens In Warri On Saturday

In preparation to have a good outing on their first season in the Nigeria Women top flight football, Newly promoted side to the Nigeria Women Premier League, Royal Queens will engage Edo Queens in a friendly game on Saturday at the Warri Township Stadium.

The friendly game was billed to be part of the club launching on Sunday 19th of January but the launching was shifted forward to February.

Edo Queens a Nigeria women top flight football club whom ended their 2018/2019 NWPL season second behind Adamawa Queens in a group consisting, Dream Stars Ladies of Lagos, Heartland Queens and Adamawa Queens

The encounter at the Warri Township stadium tomorrow will be the second meeting of both clubs with the first being the round of 16 of the 2019 Aiteo cup where Royal Queens loss on penalties after a full time barren draw.

Edo Queens are expected to arrive Warri today Friday for the much awaited friendly that will be  first competitive game for the coach Abayomi girls in the year 2020 after having some friendliest with U15 boys and Itsekiri Chiefs in 2019.
