Kotoko is ready for match day six of the Ghana premier league clash against Hearts of Oak according to head coach, Maxwell Konadu.
The Kumasi based team play as guest to Hearts of Oak on Sunday in Ghana’s version of ‘El Classico.’
Kotoko secured a 2-0 victory over Ebusua Dwarfs at the Baba Yara sports stadium on Sunday and are readying themselves ahead of the biggest match in the country.
Two late goals from the new kid Mathew Cudjoe and Richard Arthur was enough to move the Kotoko to sixth position on the league log.
“Kotoko is always ready for Hearts of Oak encounter. I believe they are also ready for us.
Matches between these two teams is a high profile match and nobody is going to relax.
“I know they are preparing very well and haven one eye on the match. Is going to be an interesting match anyway. We also have an eye there to know what is going on in Accra.

Maxwell Konadu team will face Edward Nii Odoom’s improved Phobia side who staged a stunning comeback at the Carl Reindolf Park against Liberty Professionals at Dansoman after going down in the early minutes of the match.
