Morocco, Egypt and Tunisia clubs dominate the quarter finals spot of the CAF champions league after the conclusion of the group stage games.

Al-Ahly with 8 CAF champions league trophies were able to hold Al-Hilal to 1-1 draw to book their place in the last 8.

Zamalek of Egypt also book their place in the last 8 after a goalles draw with Primeiro De Agostos of Angola as they finished second behind Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa in group C.

Esperance De Tunis and Etoile Du Sahel of Tunisia also book their place in the last 8.

The two Tunisia clubs finished as group winners as Morocco representatives also make it to the last 8 leaving Mamelodi Sundowns and TP Mazembe the only clubs outside the North Africa zone to make it to the quarter finals.

History was also made in this year CAF champions league as this will be the first time ever the competition Will be having 8 past winners in the quarter finals.
