[Zambia] Zanaco Bounce Back To Beat Red Arrows In A Reschedule Fixture

Zanaco on Wednesday 19th February comes from a goal down to beat Red Arrows at the sunset stadium in Lusaka.

Goals from

Moses  in the 66th minutes,  Kola  in the 72nd minutes and  Phiri who put the visitors in front in the 34th minutes was enough for the Banker to claim all maximum points at home.

Despite missing a lot of chances in the early minutes of the game Red Arrows came close in taking the lead in 9th minutes as

Arrows catches Zanaco on a counter attack, Sibanda attempt on target is blocked by Owusu and Arrows players shouts for a penalty, but referee Sikazwe says play on.

Zanaco had another chance in the 16 minutes through Sakulanda with a chance on the right, he whips in a cross, too much power behind it as it goes beyond everyone in the box.

Zanaco broke the dead lock 18 minutes later through Joseph Phiri but two unreplied second goals was enough for Zanaco to move up to 9th on log with a tie against Buildcon on Saturday at the sunset stadium.
