The Communication Director of the Ghana Football Association(GFA) Henry Asante has disclosed that the FA are done with interviews on getting a new GFA Technical Director.
The Big Position became vacant after the FA asked Mr. Francis Oti Akenteng to relieve off his position months ago after serving for a decade.
Severe technical men applied for the position including Ghanaians. Thus, Bashiru Hayford and Malik Jabir with expatriates.
According to Henry Twum, interviews have been done waiting for the announcement of a new GFA Technical Director. The Director will be uncharted of the various national teams.
“We have already done the interview after we released the shortlisted name”
“Where we have reached now who ever we choose to settle on, there will be negotiations, and a few things. I know the Technical Director role is of great importance to the Ghana FA”, he said.
“Oti Akenteng legacy is remarkable and we have to get someone who is competent to continue”Ghanaians should give us a little time, talks are still ongoing for the appointment to be made public”
